WOMEN’S GUILD ‘SALADS AND DESSERTS’ POTLUCK AND MEETING

Monday, September 9, 6:30 p.m. in the Social Hall
Join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and planning for the new season. Guests, as always, are most welcome. For the program (an idea from Shirley Thompson) attendees are asked to write down, prior to the meeting, three interesting tidbits from their past, but one of the three is to be false.  We will submit guesses as to which one is false for each of the participants. For example, Shirley submitted the following: 1) She raised rabbits as a kid, and one spring she had 50 cute little bunnies to care for; 2) She tried to smoke a cigarette with a friend as a teen but became ill and never tried it again; 3) She totally believed in Santa and the Easter Bunny until 3rd grade. Let’s pull up some old memories and get our imaginations going!

YOUNG AT HEART (YAH)

We are encouraging some new ideas for our YAH gathering. Please join the fun and share your ideas to help determine possible direction on Tuesday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Music Room. Everyone will be a leader. Everyone will be a follower. It’s “Back to School” so bring a bag lunch and see what we have for dessert, it will be provided. No membership or proof of ID is required!
