When you want something that costs more than you have, what do you do?  You save.  By giving up small pleasures today and saving the relatively small amount of money they would cost, we can eventually cover the cost of the thing we really want.

Well, Big Luke is our opportunity to save as the family of Christ at St. Luke.  Each of us is encouraged to find some small (or large) sacrifice we can make in our lives.  Then we bring the money saved from that sacrifice and place it in our piggy bank.  As those dollars and cents accumulate, big things can be done and Jesus' ministry can be extended.
